Logan, UT
Logan is a very attractive, small city situated in the verdant Cache Valley. The Bear River Mountains rise just east of town while the exceptionally steep Wellsville Mountains provide a pretty backdrop to the Cache Valley farmlands to the west.
Logan boasts a handsome downtown area and pretty tree-lined residential neighborhoods. Its architectural focal point is the gleaming Logan Temple set on a hill near the center of town. Utah State University, with its 20,000 students, adds youthful energy to this pleasant rural town. Unlike Ogden, Salt Lake City, and Provo, that share a sprawling urban area, Logan benefits from being bit isolated.
The mountains surrounding Logan provide good opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing and camping, and in winter, downhill and cross-country skiing. Logan has plenty of motels and restaurants and all the other shops and services you'd expect in a moderate-sized city.
Logan's picturesque location, manageable size, and service make it a very inviting place to live and study. |
