With a population of more than 200,000, Fort Wayne has everything a city should. As well as excellent schools and colleges, good transportation, and first-class shopping, it is also buzzing with things to do and see.
The city has a distinguished sporting history. The National Basketball Association originated there and it was home to the first pro women's baseball team. Winters can be cold, so the months of May through September are best for visiting Fort Wayne's 56 square miles of parkland, where you can enjoy walking and other activities in beautiful scenery.
